Afternoon
Tea in Britain
To be British
can mean so many things, but undoubtedly it will mean a
love of tea. More than just a beverage, for many Englishmen
tea is a tradition in its own right. Your students can have the
opportunity to participate in this tradition by enjoying a classic Afternoon
Tea in England. They will learn the history of tea in English
culture, from its introduction in the 17th century to the mania
for it in the Victorian era, while enjoying the beverage with
its accompanying small sandwiches and petit fours. Contact

day uses in Catalunya. We can also arrange for your students
to stamp T-shirts with chocolate themes in a special workshop.

The Italians
are famous for their delicious food, and a favorite throughout
the world is their pasta. While you are in Italy your students
can learn about the different types of pasta and food products,
and then learn to make pasta from scratch themselves.
Afterward they can eat their creation. What better activity can
you provide than one that teaches your students history, feeds
them, and gives them a skill to take home and show off to parents? Contact

Embroidery
Lessons in Bayeux
When your
students first view the Bayeux tapestry, they will be
overwhelmed by the size of it, and the skill of those who created
it. To give them a deeper appreciation of the time and efforts
put into the tapestry, your group may finish its time in Bayeux
with an embroidery lesson. During this lesson your students
will learn some basic stitches, as well as the history of embroidery
and the tapestry itself. By creating the full experience, your
students will understand and appreciate history in a more meaningful
way. Contact
