Trekking and Hiking Tours

These programs are a particular specialty of Casterbridge Connoisseur, as our founder, owner, and chairman was not only a former educator, but an avid trekker. He often leads or joins groups on Great Walks of the World and he has accumulated a wealth of great trekking contacts around the globe.

We offer wonderful treks across Europe, including the Scottish Highlands, the Pyrenees, and the magnificent and scenic Alps. We also have challenging treks across North America, including the US and Canadian Rockies; across the Continental Divide in Central America; throughout the Andes, including the Inca Trail and Ausengate Circuit in Peru; through central and southern Africa, including Mount Kilimanjaro; and are especially proud of our treks to base camp at Mount Everest.

Walking tours are a wonderful option for groups, especially those that enjoy being immersed in the beauty and diversity nature has to offer. They are much less rigorous than trekking programs and our specialist Tour Coordinators will assist you in planning walks that are appropriate for your group.

Cycling Tours

Our cycling tours afford groups the opportunity to take in the beauty of the countryside or the city while biking. Our programs include guides who are also cyclists and know the trails well. We provide the bikes for your group and have a storage van that accompanies the group bus, so that the bikes are safe and properly stored during stops and visits.

Ski Packages for Groups

Our skiing tours are customized to meet the requirements and skill level of each group. Ski the great slopes around the world and take in some amazing sights along the way. We have contacts all across Europe and the Americas. Many of the packages we can put together include daily ski passes and accommodations in all-inclusive ski resorts. You can customize your program to include educational visits or cultural experiences to compliment your skiing.

Group Fishing Tours
