Private Coach Transportation for Church Groups on Tour

Transportation is one of the most important aspects of your travel experience. When properly arranged and coordinated, it can result in your church tour program being a seamless experience and an unqualified success.

From Arrival to Departure

In addition to your exclusive 24/7 Tour Manager/Guide, your private coach and driver will meet you at the airport. Your group will have a private coach exclusively for your use during the entire tour. This will allow you to take full advantage of both your arrival and departure days.

You will never be combined with other groups on a coach and have to endure an introductory tour of local hotels as every other group is dropped off before you, or is picked up after you when you depart for an excursion. Nor will you have to wait at your arrival airport – sometimes for hours – for those other groups to fly in. You will be on your way within a few minutes of passing through customs.

Flexibility

Casterbridge’s private transportation service allows you certain latitude to make special or unscheduled stops or visits, as long as the group’s planned itinerary will not be compromised and the laws affecting your driver’s hours are not violated.

These unplanned stops can greatly enhance any touring experience. But you will find that they are not allowed by many other tour operators, who work to very rigid parameters and have to cater for multiple groups that may not share your priorities or concerns.

Comfortable Coaches and Professional Drivers

Even for a group of 10 travelers in Europe and North America, you will normally have your own professional driver and comfortable 26-, 47-, 49-, or 53-seat tour coach for your own exclusive use. We will hire two (or more) coaches for groups that have 48 or more participants.

Most of our vehicles are fitted with high-backed reclining seats and seat belts and feature air conditioning, an on board toilet, video screens, and a refrigerator. They are spacious, with well-upholstered seats and wide windows to give you the best possible view of the passing landscape.

Minibuses

On our worldwide tours, we occasionally use minibuses because they can provide our tours with greater flexibility and convenience.

Indeed, our smaller groups in Africa, Asia, Australasia, and Latin America find that minibuses provide an ideal opportunity to get off the beaten track and explore back roads and towns not on the usual tourist trail.

Capital City Travel Passes

In most cases, our church tour groups have a private coach and driver throughout the entire tour. However, in European capital cities, as well as Venice and Barcelona, we can include a public transportation pass to take advantage of the city’s subway or bus system. This is sometimes the more efficient way to sightsee in large capital cities.

In fact, there is no more convenient way to explore Europe’s great cities than with a travel pass, and you will have the full-time services of your Tour Manager/Guide to escort your group on all your sightseeing activities when you are using public transport.

Let the Train Take the Strain

The European rail network has no rival for speed and comfort. Traveling by train is fun, so ‘Let the train take the strain!’

Fast, modern trains mean your journey passes more rapidly than by road. The Eurostar service, for example, will whisk you between London and Paris in just three hours.

On certain church tour programs, we may use overnight trains for an authentic European travel experience. You will enjoy comfortable couchette berths in cabins that house two-to-four travelers, depending on your route.

If an itinerary requires, we may also use internal flights or ferries. We will always include these costs in your quotation and describe them in your detailed itinerary.
