Unique Educational and Cultural Experiences
Some of the greatest aspects of our customized study abroad trips involve what a participant does rather than what s/he sees. We strive to include unique experiences on tour that create hands-on learning and appreciation in conjunction with the overall educational goals. Some of our most popular additions include:
- Culinary Activities such as cooking classes, visits to local specialty producers, olive oil and wine tastings, and local market visits
- Artistic Endeavors including workshops with local artisans, factory visits, plein air painting, calligraphy lessons, and perfume creation

We also understand the importance of free time in each student’s ability to explore the culture as fully as possible. We can include free days on tour, or increased free time at a given site or during the course of the day.
