Our goal is always to provide the highest level educational experience, as well as complete peace of mind to all of our college and university study tour participants.
…For Each Program Leader
Our university study tours generally include a highly trained Tour Manager/Guide who accompanies the group at all times. Your Tour Manager/Guide not only provides excellent cultural and educational insights, s/he is also able to assist with any difficulties encountered on tour. Whether it is a missing vegetarian meal or a volcano that shuts down international airspace, the Tour Manager/Guide will be working with Casterbridge staff to ensure that everything is handled smoothly and efficiently.
Our emergency line is staffed 24/7 by members of both our US and UK offices. Any issue can be quickly addressed with the assistance of our in-house flight department and operations staff. We have well-established health, safety, and emergency protocols to assist all travelers on our programs.

Casterbridge is a member of USTOA – United States Tour Operators Association, ASTA – The American Society of Travel Agents, ETOA -European Tour Operators Association, and IATA – International Air Transport Association. With our Operations Team, Head Office, and Directors based in Britain and Europe, you can be assured Casterbridge has more experience and contacts in Europe than any of our competitors.
Our liability policy automatically covers all program leaders taking a group on a Casterbridge Tour, and institutions can also be added to that policy when requested.
Casterbridge is an accredited travel study school, officially certified by all six accrediting bodies in the United States. When approving a university study tour with Casterbridge for credit, you can be assured that we hold the educational goals of your institution in the same high regard you do.
…For Each Group Member
All travelers on a Casterbridge study tour are protected through the $1 million USTOA Travelers Assistance Program. Casterbridge also offers all participants extensive accident, medical, and dental insurance.
For further protection abroad, we offer an optional TravelGuard Insurance Policy that includes full medical, property, and trip cancellation. This policy also includes a provision to cover pre-existing conditions when purchased at time of booking, allowing participants to be fully covered for all valid grounds of cancellation.
